When You Visit
The Front Desk is staffed 24-hours a day. A doorman is on duty Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
The use of cell phones for verbal communications is limited to phone booths, private meeting rooms, and guest rooms.
Valet parking is not available to guests of members; however cars may pull up to the front of The Club for loading and unloading. Several public lots are conveniently located to our Clubhouse, including two outdoor lots at Van Buren and Wabash and an indoor lot at the Grant Park South Garage.
Steeped in tradition, The Chicago Club is located in an elegant, historic building. We ask that all members and guests dress appropriately. If you have any questions regarding the dress code, please contact the Front Desk, (312) 427-1825. The Grill Room requires diners to be dressed in business attire during lunch and dinner; those enjoying breakfast may be dressed in corporate casual attire. The Library Bar and The Terrace permit corporate casual attire at all times.
Business attire for men includes suits, sport coats, and collared dress shirts. Ties are optional. Corporate casual for men is a collared shirt or turtleneck sweater with tailored trousers.
Business attire for ladies includes suits, jackets, tailored pants or skirts, blouses, and dresses. Corporate casual for women is dresses, blouses, and tailored pants or skirts.
All footwear must be dress shoes. Casual or athletic footwear, such as flip-flops and sneakers, are not permitted.
Denims, shorts, tee shirts, tube tops, flip flops, and athletic shoes are not permitted at any time.
Staff members are prohibited from accepting gratuities. If you would like to show your appreciation, please inquire with the Front Desk about the Employee Holiday Fund.
